What just launched — and what actually matters.

No rumour dressed up as fact. These are the phones officially announced or released in 2026, with the useful change and the honest reason to care.

The quick answer

Pixel 11 Pro is the most important new camera-first Android. Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is the boldest productivity phone. iPhone 17e is Apple’s current lower-cost entry. Galaxy A37 is the practical £399 choice, while A57 offers a stronger build and processor at £529.

OnePlus 15 remains a spectacular battery and gaming phone, but the company’s official decision to end future product rollouts in Europe and North America is now part of every recommendation.

Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Fold8 & Flip8

Samsung now offers three clearly different foldables. Fold8 Ultra is the maximum-workspace model, Fold8 is the lighter 201g book-style phone, and Flip8 prioritises pocketability and its cover-screen experience.

iPhone 17e

The 17e starts with 256GB storage and includes the A19 chip, a 48MP Fusion camera, USB-C and 15W MagSafe. It is the cheaper route into the current iPhone family, but the single rear camera and simpler display separate it from iPhone 17.

OnePlus 15: brilliant hardware, major caveat

OnePlus 15

The 7,300mAh battery, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, gaming refresh rate up to 165Hz and triple 50MP camera system still make OnePlus 15 technically compelling.

Before you choose: OnePlus says future product rollouts will end in Europe and North America, while software and after-sales support will continue for existing users. That does not make the phone unusable, but it changes the long-term ownership decision.

How this page stays current

  • Every evening: official launch pages and manufacturer newsrooms are checked for new models, availability changes and corrected specifications.
  • Nothing changes without evidence: rumours remain in the separate rumour tracker and never enter the finder as released phones.
  • Dates mean something: the review date changes only when the facts or recommendations were actually checked.
